On Saturday at the end of July, four days before the wedding, she missed the steamer from Penzephyr to St Mary’s and the next ship was not until Tuesday. He meets Charles Stow, his ex-boyfriend. She lures him to marry her. The ceremony will take place on Tuesday morning in Trufal. In Pezephyr, Charles plunged into the sea and drowned.

They spent the night of their wedding at the inn in Penzephyr, which coincidentally was the same place where Charles’ body was hidden. Less than a month later, he was blackmailed by a rotten glacier that witnessed Baptist’s first wedding.
When she asked for more and more money, she finally decided to tell her husband the truth. He admitted that he himself was a widower and a father of four daughters. Then she gradually fell in love with her daughters and husband.
