Instead, he argues, people must be forced to live primitive lives, dominated by rule, malnourishment, and disease, and often dependent on slavery. The book has been credited with reviving some of the most important questions in human history.

About the Author
Charles-Marie-Georges Huysmans (US: /wiːsˈmɒ̃s/, French: [ʃaʁl maʁi ʒɔʁʒ ɥismɑ̃s]; February 5, 1848 – May 12, 1907) was a French novelist and critic who published his job.
Joris-Karl Huysmans (pronounced [ʒɔʁis kaʁl-], alternating with J.K. or J.-K.). He is best known for the novel À rebours (1884, published in English under the titles Against the Grain and Against Nature). He established himself through 30 years of service in the French civil service.
