Ana Karenina Part 2 Pdf Summary by BajrontBooks

Shcherbatskys worry about Kitty’s health after she failed from the ball, where Vronsky mocked her. Although they secretly believed that the cause of Kitty’s ill health was love, Shcherbatsky turned to several doctors. Dolly tries to talk to Kitty about how she feels. Kitty fought back at first, but then cried.

Dolly says Kitty Levin denied that Vronsky had just left and that she was devastated by the pain of this change of events.

Anna has always been in a different social circle these days and prefers to associate with Vronsky’s secular cousin Betsy Tverskoy than with her former partner, the benevolent Lydia Ivanovna. At one party, rumors spread of Anna’s relationship with Vronsky, and Anna fell victim to some violent rumors, even though others defended her.

Anna and Vronsky meet at Betsa. Anna asks Vronsky to leave their relationship, and apologizes to Kitty. Vronsky confirms his hope of happiness with Anna, while his eyes assure her that he loves her. Karenin arrives, but soon leaves, while Anna decides to stay with Betsy for food. At home, Karenin thought about how she felt something was wrong. He felt jealous, even though he knew jealousy was not wise. He was confused and uncomfortable when he tried to describe Anna’s personal life first hand.

More Summary Below

When Anna leaves Betsy’s house, her husband confronts her and warns her of the dangers of her behavior. Anna was a little overwhelmed, proving her right to a little fun. Karen says that some things must be hidden in the human soul, which means that Anna’s attraction to Vronsky is one thing. Karenin tells Anna that she loves him, but she wonders what that means. He told her he wanted to sleep and pulled him back.

The bill jumped almost a year ahead, to the point where Anna and Vronsky finally ended their relationship. After the act, Anna calls and says that all she has now is Vronsky. He tried to divert his thoughts. In her sleep, it seems to her that Karenin and Vronsky are her husbands.

Meanwhile, Levin continues his grief over Kitty’s refusal. He planned the farm on his land and sent his brother Nikolai, who suffers from tuberculosis, to a spa in Europe for treatment. Levin felt the frustration of his farming and the stubbornness and stupidity of his farm workers.

When the clock struck one day, Levin asked him if his brother Nikolai had visited him. She was happy to see that it was Stiva Oblonsky. Levin, grateful for a potential source of information about Kitty, takes Stiva on a hunt and birds. Unexpectedly, Levin asked Kitty, unable to suppress his curiosity. When Stiva replies that Kitty is ill, Levin is happy and thinks it affects him.

On the way home, Levin and Stiva talk about the forest Stiva is planning to sell. Levin claimed to be tracking the deal and blaming the dealer’s dealer for trying to cheat Steve. When trying to trade with Steve Levin, he refuses to shake hands with the merchant. He still sold Stiva and later accused Levin of snobbery.
