Cyrus The Great

Description of the Book
Cyrus was an expert in military training who defeated the Medes, the Lydians and the Babylonians, creating the largest empire of his time. He is also known as the leader of this diverse empire in respect of minority rights, human rights and religious tolerance, and for being the only non-Jew named the Messiah in the Bible after the war. . His stories are always told through a mixture of history and legend, often inspired by Persian sources.
Cyrus the Great reads like a novel, sharing the Persian king’s life as an inspiring story. It started with the story of a dream in which his grandfather prophesied that Cyrus would overthrow him, the order he gave that Cyrus would be killed, and who would kill him, save the boy’s life and resurrect him.
