Description of the Book

Based on a short story by Bram Stoker, Dracula’s Guest follows the story of two young lovers, Bram and Elizabeth, who are forced by their father, Admiral Murray, to take a year-long break from their relationship. to find out if their love is right.

Meanwhile, Count Dracula is in London looking for a new home and, coincidentally or not, meets young Elizabeth at the train station when she runs away from home. and his father was too much.

However, Dracula proceeds to kidnap her and takes Elizabeth to his home where she awaits her father’s arrival to settle an old feud. Meanwhile, Bram’s friend Malcolm begins to tell Bram about Elizabeth’s kidnapping, but he soon falls into Dracula’s evil ways. And, after seeing his best friend die, Bram goes to Europe to save his true love.

About the Author

Abraham Stoker (November 8, 1847 – April 20, 1912) was an Irish author best known for the 1897 gothic horror novel Dracula. During his lifetime, he was best known as the personal assistant to actor Sir Henry Irving and the business manager of the Lyceum Theatre, which Irving owned.

In his youth, Stoker worked as a film critic for an Irish newspaper and wrote stories and commentary. He also enjoyed traveling, particularly to Cruden Bay where he set his two novels.
