Hannibal The Carthaginian

Description of the Book
More than two thousand years ago, one of the greatest military leaders in history nearly destroyed Rome. Hannibal, a fearsome African general from the city of Carthage, led an army of warriors and elephants over the snow-covered Alps to invade the heart of the growing Roman empire.
But what kind of people would dare to face the unparalleled imperial power of the ancient world? How was Hannibal, who was always outnumbered and always sinking into enemy territory, able to win battle after battle until he held the grip of Rome?
