The Scarlet Pimpernel

Description of the Book
The Red Pimpernel is the main novel in a progression of verifiable fiction by Noblewoman Orczy, distributed in 1905. It was composed after her stage play of a similar title (co-created with Montague Barstow) partook in a long disagreement in London, having opened in Nottingham in 1903.
The novel is set during the Rule of Fear observing the beginning of the French Unrest. The title is the nom de guerre of its legend and hero, a courageous British chap who salvages blue-bloods before they are shipped off the guillotine.
