The Tale of Peter Rabbit Pdf Book Summary
The Story of Peter the Rabbit is a children’s book written and illustrated by Beatrix Potter, which follows the cunning and rebellious young rabbit Peter as he walks through Mr. Garden’s garden. McGregor. He ran away and returned home to his mother, who dropped him off after he was offered chamomile tea.
The story was written for five-year-old Noel Moore, the son of Potter’s former governor Annie Carter Moore, in 1893. After a major refusal by the publisher, it was edited and privately printed by Potter in 1901, but printed in Frederick Warne. & Co. in 1902. The book was successful and in the years after its creation several publications were published. It has been translated into 36 languages and, with 45 million copies sold, is one of the best-selling books in history.
Since its publication, the book has generated big sales for children and adults, including toys, dishes, food, clothing and videos. Potter was one of the first to be responsible for such a sale when he patented a Peter Rabbit doll in 1903, followed immediately by the Peter Rabbit board game. Peter Rabbit has remained popular with children for over a hundred years and continues to be adapted and disseminated through new book, television and film media.
The story focuses on Peter, a cunning, rebellious young rabbit, and his family. The Queen Mother warned Peter and his three other children, Flopsy, Mopsy and Cottontail, in front of the vegetable garden of a man named Mr. He told her that McGregor, whose wife had given her father a cake when he entered. Peter’s three sisters stubbornly refused to enter the garden and go down the path to pick up blackberries, but Peter went to the garden to pick up vegetables.
Peter eventually ate more and more good for him, looking for parsley to treat his stomach aches. Mr. Petra found Mr. McGregor and lost his coat and boots while trying to escape. He hid the watering can in the warehouse, but had to leave again when Mr. McGregor and completely lost.
When Peter went through the cat, he saw from the distance the gate to which he entered the garden, and went to it, even though Mr. looked at it again. McGregor. He shivered under the gate with difficulty and ran away from the garden. His abandoned clothes were used by Mr. For McGregor to use his spices.
On the way home, the sick Petr lies in bed with his mother. She switched to Peter for losing her clothes because it was the second coat and shoe Peter had lost in two weeks.
